The Lawrentian, Lawrence University's student newspaper since 1884, is the Lawrence community’s main source of news. We provide information on campus happenings -- classes, speeches, achievements, sporting events, administrative decisions, and many more of the issues and events that shape students’ college experience. It is also a forum for student and faculty opinions. Our paper is provided to Lawrentians at no charge.

For three, ten-week academic terms, Lawrence is home to over 1,400 fulltime undergraduates from nearly every state and approximately 50 countries. The Lawrentian publishes 24 regular issues and two special editions. Our 12-page paper is distributed each Friday by 5pm to the on-campus community, approximately 150 off-campus subscribers, and several locations in the downtown area.
