LUMP is committed to presenting a full-length student-produced musical theater offering each spring. This year, mark your calendars for April 12-14 when we produce "Working," a musical with libretto by Studs Terkel. "Working" depicts a day in the life of the average American worker, with all monologues and song texts derived from interviews with actual workers. The music is based in a variety of contemporary genres including folk, blues, jazz and rock. Opportunity for involvement on- and offstage will be available. Open auditions for the ensemble cast of 9-12 men and women will take place in February. E-mail murphym@lawrence.edu with further questions. Hope to see you in the spring!
