The Lawrentian responds:
We apologize for any insult Kayla's commentary caused towards members of the student body. The segment was intended as a series of affectionate jabs of sorts directed not towards any particular individual but rather the diffuse Lawrence community.
Granted, the half-page piece on Lawrence fashion was slightly longer than we would have preferred, but the newspaper's failure to receive an expected editorial made the length necessary lest there be a blank space on the op/ed page.
The Lawrentian encourages members of the Lawrence community with comments or concerns regarding the newspaper to submit feedback to the editorial staff via our personal email addresses or lawrentian *at* lawrence.edu.
