Correction

In Nicholas Albertini's column "In Real Science: Neutron starts and gravitational waves," printed in the May 15 issue of The Lawrentian, it was reported that LIGO "has successfully detected many gravitational signals." This statement is not correct, and the LIGO detectors have not detected gravitational signals to date. The Lawrentian regrets the error.
