I’m giving you this recipe this week for the simple reason that it is the only thing that adequately expresses how excited I am about all this sunshine and warmth we’ve finally been enjoying! I had these awesome smoothies in a café in Chicago’s Germantown over the summer, and this recipe is my best approximation of them. I hope you like them!
What you need:
- Frozen berries and mango
- Orange juice
- Plain nonfat yogurt
- Ice cubes
- Honey
What to do:
Throw the ingredients in a blender and pulse until well combined.
Start with the berries, mango, orange juice, yogurt and ice cubes, then add the honey in drizzles until you reach the desired sweetness.
Pour in a glass, stick in a straw and sit somewhere in the sun while you enjoy your concoction in languorous sips.
