The world that passes by the school bus is a lovely winter wonderland despite the fact that it’s not snowed in weeks all because the cold last night and the dew this morning frozen in perfect sequence to be a thin coating of frost on branches of the trees turning a barren field into the fae wilds with ice that grows on trees pale white all around on the individual blades of grass melting slowly in the sun. Drip. Drip. Drip. It was wonderous while it lasted.
