Award-winning author Ann Packer conducts reading

Ann Packer, the author of many bestselling works such as 2002’s “The Dive from Clausen’s Pier,” which recieved the Kate Chopin Literary Award, and 2011’s “Swim Back to Me,” which was included in the 2012 O. Henry Award prize stories collection, visited Lawrence University on Thursday, May 4. From 4:30-6:00 p.m., the Nathan March Pusey room was crowded with engaged listeners as Packer read excerpts from various pieces. The event was sponsored by the Lawrence English department, and was free and open to the public.
