Lawrence University’s men’s lacrosse team played hard to grind out an 8-4 victory at home against the strong-willed Benedictine University Eagles. In what was a fixture, they played through heavy winds, and the Vikings improved the season record to 4-11 after a valiant comeback.
The first quarter saw Lawrence fall 3-2 down, after the triple threat of BU’s Grant, Langley, & Hernandez scored over a seven minute period. The pair of Viking strikes came from Minnesota native, first-year Judah Goehring & Japanese sophomore forward Iori Yamada. Yamada’s goal was particularly vital, coming in the dying seconds of the period
