The Black Excellence Ball took place last Saturday as part of Lawrence’s annual People of Color Empowerment Week, which is a collaboration between All Is One: Empowering Young Women of Color, Alianza, Beta Psi Nu, Black Student Union, the Diversity and Intercultural Center, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Student Organized University Programming . The week will conclude with Cultural Expressions this Saturday. Check back next week for full coverage of the events.
