Historical photo feature: Milwaukee-Downer College’s Colors Day

Milwaukee-Downer Colors Day, 1954-09. ARC2007-076.

Colors Day took place at the beginning of the school year and included a procession of classes. There was a transfer of a red, green, yellow or purple banner to the incoming freshman class. The colors provided class identity and linked all Milwaukee-Downer students.
