Carrying these eggs the first time
from farmers market
to
fridge
Had no idea
that within the day
they'd be moving once
again
Roommate drama compounds
leading to a offered couch
being taken
and with me go the eggs
walking across campus
to a friends bright red fridge
And two days later
pushing against the limit
house guests
and fish
and apparently eggs
no longer
than three days
So once again
an adventure across
carried gently
but yet
under
takeout
I notice the hairline cracks
along two
putting them in line
for breakfast first
Because the days
go on and on regardless
of how many time
eggs cross campus
