Somewhere in the Middle

We want water temperature to be just right. Not too hot, but not too cold either. This only happens when the faucet handle is somewhere in the middle of those two. I believe life needs to be like this too. It has to be somewhere in the middle of difficult and easy. I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy a life full of adversity. On the other hand, how can people grow from a life within their comfort zones, where everything is handed to them? I would love to see a world in which people are happy and positive, while learning from their challenges at the same time. It is important that we face curveballs, but with strength, and an optimistic mindset. We must not give up at these times, because this is how we change for the better as people. If we were never challenged, we would never change. It is scary and uncomfortable to deal with difficulty, but the ultimate result is growth and strength. Life is even better when we have a support system of people, helping to face the hard times. This is when we can land somewhere in the middle –– encountering challenges as we go through each phase of life, but understanding how they help us to improve, and leaning on others along the way.
