Meet our new editors!

Hi, Lawrence, I’m Blair! There’s a few things you should know about me: I’m a sophomore studying creative writing and political science, I’m a sucker for a cup of tea — the more bitter the better — and I’m afraid to eat the end of the banana because I was once told there was a worm in there when I was a child and never truly recovered. You may have seen my name in these pages a time or two. I’m a Jack-of-all-trades in this publication, having written for Arts & Entertainment, Features and News, as well as copy edited. To say I’m excited to begin my work as the News Section Editor and look forward to what this term has to offer would be a huge understatement.

Hi, Lawrentians! I’ll start by saying I am thrilled to be stepping into the role of Variety Section Editor! To introduce myself briefly: I’m a sophomore international student from sunny Bangkok, Thailand, where I was born and raised (the first time I saw real snow was during my first Wisconsin winter last year!). I initially joined The Lawrentian in October 2022 as a writer for the Variety section and absolutely fell in love with creative writing — I plan to declare it as my major in the near future! Another one of my greatest loves is coffee, so you’ll most likely find me drinking some around campus. I’m always looking to meet new people, so feel free to say hello and join me if you see me! I can’t wait to gain all of the wonderful, valuable experience to come from doing this.
