Pan-Hel beckons

On the road to life there are friends and there are sisters. Sisters wanted! Panhellenic Council is the representative body of the three different sororities on campus: Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Currently there are over 70 women involved in the sorority system at Lawrence, and we are always excited to welcome new members. All freshmen and unaffiliated women are invited to go through formal recruitment at the beginning of second term.

During first term, there are many fun and exciting pre-recruitment events, including a luau, BBQ’s with the fraternities, dinners, movie nights, and more.

Joining a sorority allows you to develop closer bonds of friendship. It provides a great opportunity to be philanthropically active and garner leadership experience. Joining a sorority is an opportunity to discover lifelong friends and memories.

If you want to meet some amazing women and become active at Lawrence, I would encourage you to take part in the Greek system. Everyone is welcome to the first BBQ. It will be Friday, Sept. 27, in the quad.

Please come check out some of the pre-recruitment events this fall, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me: Julie Stroinski, President Panhellenic Council, ext. 7816, or Karleen Dietrich, Greek advisor, ext. 6789.

Come and discover more of the Lawrence Difference through the sorority system and encounter a unique experience with many diverse women!
