The Multicultural Awareness Committee (MCAC) is an LUCC committee consisting of students, faculty, and staff. Their aim is to promote understanding and awareness of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and physical ability, both within and outside the Lawrence community. In the past, MCAC has brought in speakers and co-sponsored events that promote cultural issues that may be of interest to members of the Lawrence community.
