To: All campus organizations and officesAs an RLA, I am expected to post a number of signs on my floor. It’s only the second week of the term, though, and already there is an overwhelming number, to the extent that people who pass by see a blur of color instead of individual advertisements.
It has gotten to the point that posters are largely ineffective, just because there are so many of them.
If you belong to a campus organization or office that posts signs, I would advise you to use these signs sparingly when you advertise events. Otherwise, you’re only wasting your own time and paper, and causing aggravation for everyone else.
