Schools nationwide are signing up for the Independent 529 Plan, which helps families invest in their child’s future education.The new savings plan, tailored specifically to private colleges and universities, is set to start this summer. Lawrence University is one of three schools in Wisconsin and about 300 schools nationally to be a part of the Independent 529 Plan.
