NEWLY REMODELED RANGES WITH COVERED FIRING POINTS – STAY DRY, RAIN OR SHINE

============================================================

Each year the Appleton Rifle & Pistol Club sets aside days in November to open it’s Rifle Range to the Public. This public service is offered to all area hunters so that they may ready their rifles and shotguns for the upcoming Deer Hunting season. Hundreds of Sportsmen have the opportunity to check their firearms for function, accuracy and safety. This year the club has made major improvements to our ranges.

Experienced range officers assist each Hunter on a one on one basis to help properly sight-in their firearms. Experienced gunsmiths are available to help trouble-shoot and repair any last minute problems such as loose scopes and sights. This is a Quality service to area Sportsmen.

However, each and every year we hear over and over again, “I didn’t hear about the sight-in days,” or “I didn’t know where it was held.” This problem of “getting the word out” is nothing new and we sincerely need your help. Many people are looking for a place to properly sight-in their firearms and you could help them to find one.

Because the Appleton Rifle & Pistol Club is a small club, it cannot afford to take out large paid ads to announce this service to area Hunters. But with your help, “getting the word out” would be possible. Please help us by setting aside a few lines or a few minutes to announce this service to our area deer Hunters.

The Appleton Rifle & Pistol Club provides an experienced Range Officer for each participant. Each Range Officer uses a spotting scope and indicator target to clearly show the Shooter’s performance. There is no walking back and forth to check the targets. Ranges include 25 yards, 50 yards and 100 yards. All targets and services are provided. The Club asks a $5.00 per gun donation for expenses of targets. Food and ear plugs will also be sold at site.
