As the nation continues to experience economic turmoil, the administration at Lawrence made budget-saving decisions that affect students. In an effort to involve students in these decisions, they recently launched the Save Green Web site that is linked on the Lawrence homepage. On the Web site, students are encouraged to submit their own ideas about how to save money at Lawrence. As the Web site states, “[I]t only makes sense that we’d turn to you – the people who are closest to our fine institution – for ideas about how to reduce the university’s operating expenses.
