Is it finally spring?

(Ryan Marx )

After more than three warm days in a row, a thunderstorm, and the smell of barbecue finally wafting from the quad, it’s official: Spring is here. Life on campus reflects the joy at this sudden series of nice days. Frisbee, soccer, football, baseball, and other sports have been played across Main Hall Green and in the Fraternity Quadrangle. Homework has left the library and entered the sunny grass, where students can be seen studying and napping away these long, warm afternoons. Senior Melanie Kehoss (top) is just one of many people who have already taken to games of frisbee on the Main Hall Green. Another Lawrence fixture-rope kids (bottom)-have come out of their winter hibernation in search of berries and playgrounds.
