It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the death of Professor of English and John N. Bergstrom Professor of Humanities Bertrand A. Goldgar. Goldgar passed away on the evening of of Wedesday, Oct. 14. He was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife, Corinne, his two children, Ben, 52, and Anne, 50 and two grandchildren, Sarah, 21, and Leah, 17. We at ‘The Lawrentian’ are compiling a memorial article for our beloved professor and are asking for contributions of comments and memories.
