Model United Nations

Model UN is a group that introduces students to the way the UN works and the issues that real UN delegates face everyday. We research countries and participate in competitions. This group also sponsors lectures and discussions on campus to encourage the Lawrence student body to become aware and talk about the issues facing our world and our future.

We are planning a trip to Chicago in November for a competition and are currently researching Azerbaijan.

We are a new group on campus and are in need of experienced members. We meet on Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. in the International house. For more information, contact Naomi Kalies (989-1891 off campus, x7662 on campus) or Peter Iversen (2nd and 3rd terms only).
