Lawrence Christian Fellowship brings together a wide circle of people

Looking for some excitement? Fulfillment? Root beer? Come and meet God with Lawrence Christian Fellowship, an interdenominational group of Christian students on campus. A chapter of the international organization InterVarsity, LCF affirms the doctrinal basis found on the IV website at www.ivcf.org.

Students in LCF have the opportunity to meet weekly in small group Bible studies (meeting times TBA), in prayer groups (meeting other times TBA), and in large group worship (9 p.m. Wednesdays). Additionally, members hang out together to have fun and to serve the Lawrence and Appleton communities while impacting the campus for Christ and supporting individual relationships with God.

All students are welcome at LCF events at all times. The men and women currently involved in LCF pursue a variety of majors, contribute to many other campus organizations, and come from many different backgrounds. Students are of all ages (well, within the college spectrum), from all dorms, and of all levels of involvement within LCF.

Check out the LCF website (updated this year!) at www.lawrence.edu/sorg/lcf for more information. Also, feel free to contact LCF president Stephen Venugopal, IV staff Tim Webster (991-0477), or anyone else involved with LCF.

Stay posted for announcements about the annual Root Beer Kegger, New Student Week prayer, and other LCF kick-off events. But above all, take a chance this year to follow one disciple’s suggestion (John 1:46), regarding Jesus: come and see!
