While VDay may exist in order to raise both awareness and money to end domestic violence, hanging posters and having bake sales is far from what we are about.
Each year VDay produces Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” with proceeds going to various charities. In the past two years, we have raised close to $8,000.00 for the local rape crisis center and other international organizations. We also campaign to increase self-esteem in children, as we believe that self-confidence is the first step in preventing abuse.
