Although Lawrence offers a high-quality liberal arts education, our food service has hardly been something to boast about. According to Greg Griffin, director of the Warch Center, Lawrence is looking into having an outside food management company provide dining services for the new campus center. There are five or six companies that are being considered, including Bon Appetite, the company that does the St. Olaf dining services, which is ranked as the fourth best campus food in The Princeton Review. These companies will submit a proposal in February, and a committee will decide whether or not it would be appropriate to switch to an outside dining service. Whether or not the dining service changes, the price of meal plans will remain the same.
