Paulson elected LUCC President; Lawler wins VP spot

On Wednesday Jan. 23, the LUCC Polling and Elections Committee results of the 2013 LUCC Elections. Current Vice-President Nicholas Paulson was elected LUCC President for the 2013-2014 school year over form Vice-President Carl Byers by a margin of 452-156. This will be the fourth consecutive year that Paulson has served as an LUCC leader.

rey Lawler, current LUCC Publicity Secretary was elected Vice-President in a three-way race consisting of junior Sam Clary and sophomore Adam Tenasaputra. After Tenasaputra finished in third place of the first round vote, Lawler finished ahead of Clary, 317-267.

For the second consecutive year, both top positions were tightly contested. Any questions about the race can be directed toward Austin FederaLUCC Parliamentarian and Chair of the Polling & Elections Committee.
