Women’s Swimming Alison Van Dyken won a pair of events to lead Lawrence University in its dual meet at Lake Forest College last Saturday.
Van Dyken, a senior from Grandville, Mich., won the 50-meter freestyle in 29.29 seconds and captured the 100 freestyle in 1:03.51.
She also swam the anchor leg of Lawrence’s 400 freestyle relay team, which won the event in 4:25.03. Also swimming on that relay were Jodie Primus, Stephanie Novakov, and Tiffany Pannier.

Ryan Blick
Hockey

Ryan Blick led Lawrence University Men’s Hockey to a sweep of Northland College this past weekend.
Blick, a sophomore forward from Canton, Mich., became the third consecutive Viking to be named the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Week.
The former star for the Ann Arbor Ice Dogs got his second career hat trick and an assist in Lawrence’s 7-2 win at Northland College last Friday.
Blick followed that up with a goal and three assists in the Vikings’ 5-2 win over the Lumberjacks on Saturday.
For the season, Blick has 10 points on five goals and five assists.
