Sometimes lost in the commotion of the men’s basketball team’s perfect record is the fact that the women’s team is currently leading the conference
as well. A large part of the Vikings’ success
this year has been the play off the bench of sophomore guard Carrie Van Groll, who has scored at least 12 points in seven of her last eight games, including a huge 23-point effort at Ripon. Van Groll is this week’s featured athlete.
