This past Thursday three new exhibits opened in the Wriston Art Center Galleries. Antonio Contro’s “A-Z” features collage-based works combining drawing and photography and is on display in the Hoffmaster Gallery. Also on display is Socratis Mavrommatis’ “Photographs of the Athenian Acropolis – The Restoration Project,” and “Ceramics of the Classical World” will be on display, which includes ancient Greek and Etruscan pottery from Wriston’s permanent collection and the Ripon College Classical Antiquities Collection.
