Lawrence’s Chapter of the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference (CMENC) will host its Educating Exceptional Learners Workshop on Sunday April 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Conservatory. The workshop brings speakers, including teachers, psychologists and parents, all skilled at educating students with learning disabilities. Discussion topics include ADD and AD/HD and teaching exceptional students from a parent’s perspective.
The workshop covers information useful for all types current and future educators, not only music educators, and costs $5 per participant for all materials and food.
